WHY CHOOSE US
We believe in delivering a person-centred approach to assisting those experiencing difficulties in securing employment, to access the labour market.
Our experience is that ‘a one size fits all’ is not the best approach when there is a diversity of aspirations, skills, experience, family needs and life history.
Therefore, we try to make targeted but flexible interventions in facilitating clients to define their goals, assess their resources and decide on achievable progression options towards securing a job.
Progression plans may include upskilling through vocational training, returning to second level education or accessing third level courses. We also provide pre-employment preparation through our Job Club.
Our services are based in the communities they serve. We have offices in:
that provide services to these areas along with Islandbridge, Kilmainham, Dolphins Barn. Being locally based allows us to be more proactive in responding to local initiatives and engage with community based projects.
Our team of Employment Mediators and Job Club staff is comprised of individuals who not only hold third-level qualifications but collectively have many, many years of extensive experience in the world of work, recruitment, career guidance, training and education. Team members avail regularly of opportunities to update their knowledge and expertise of the latest developments in career guidance and training through in-house and external training workshops and CPD courses. We take the responsibility of providing both job-seekers and employers with the right information, advice and assistance very seriously. Our team deal with all client requests confidentially, in as timely and conscientious a manner possible and strive to deliver quality outcomes to all service-users.
The DSCLES team of employment mediators and job club personnel have broad exposure across many industry and profession sectors. These include retail, hospitality, education and training, performing arts, culinary arts, manufacturing, community development, social care, public service, IT and media production. This range of sector knowledge allows us to have an in-depth understanding of employer requirements and industry demands.
